TSLA Fear & Greed Index

Tesla reports only its global deliveries, so each region uses the best public figures: quarterly estimates for the US with California registration counts, monthly sales from the China Passenger Car Association, and new registrations in Europe reported by ACEA.
Tesla doesn’t publish US sales. The most cited figures are Cox Automotive’s quarterly estimates for Kelley Blue Book. California, the biggest US market for electric cars, adds counts of actual registrations. Canada and Mexico have no reliable public figures for Tesla.
Source: Cox Automotive estimates for Kelley Blue Book. Cox revises earlier quarters as registration data arrives, and each bar shows its latest figure.
Source: California New Car Dealers Association, California Auto Outlook, from Experian registration data. Zero-emission vehicles are battery-electric and fuel-cell cars.
Cars from Tesla’s Shanghai factory, split into those sold in China and those exported. Their sum is the wholesale figure CPCA reports early each month.
Source: CPCA, as reported by CnEVPost. Weekly China insurance registrations stopped being published in October 2025, so this page uses the monthly figures.
New Tesla registrations in the EU, the EFTA countries and the UK, compared month by month with a year earlier.
Source: ACEA monthly press releases. ACEA publishes no July release, so July is derived from the year-to-date totals in the June and August releases.
